It is a newly developed cheese by collaboration of Asturias representing products, cow milk cheese and Sidra (sparkling apple liquor).

The cheese with added Sidra (sparkling apple liquor) has a light scent of apple.

A Malaguena goat's milk cheese produced in Andalucia in the southern part of Spain. It is confit for a weel in "Pedro Ximenez" wine after maturity. It's character comes from sweet aroma of "Pedro Ximenez"

Welcome to the world of Spanish Cheese.

We have just renewed Spanish Cheese page.

We hope many people including beginner and expert will enjoy the world of Spanish Cheese.

There is a variety of cheese in each district in Spain. They are made from sheep milk, goat milk, cow milk, mixed milk, hard type, soft type etc. Spanish Cheese is still new and is rarely found in Japan, but we will endeavor to deliver unique and tasty cheeses to as many people as possible.

By the way, have you heard of the word "Queso"?
In Spain, cheese is called "Queso". So that "Queso Manchego" is "Manchego Cheese". It has different sounding from "fromage" and Italian "formaggio" but it is originated from Latin word which means "remove whey".

This "What's new in Spanish Cheese" will introduce knowledge, recipe etc. about Spanish cheese.
